Rice Krispy Pinwheels

I first made these smore's pinwheels for the Superbowl party we had in February. I found the recipe online and linked it in my previous post. After trying it out, I decided to make a few changes. These are much easier to make and even more tasty! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Rice Krispies

Marshmallows (I like the mini Jet Puffed)

Butter

Marshmallow Fluff

Graham Crackers

Nutella

Directions:

Prepare a cookie sheet with a well greased piece of parchment paper.

Melt 3 Tablespoons of butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Add one bag of mini marshmallows and toss to coat in the melted butter. Return to microwave for about 60 seconds or until the marshmallows are completely melted and stir to combine the butter. Add 4 cups of Rice Krispies until well combined, and then add one cup of crushed up graham crackers and stir together (you can add more cereal or more graham crackers depending on the texture you prefer). Spread flat onto the prepared parchment paper on the cookie sheet. Let the mixture cool and harden for about 2 minutes.

Use an offset spatula to spread marshmallow fluff over the rice krispy treats. You can either put the marshmallow fluff in a microwave safe bowl and heat it for 10 - 15 seconds to soften it, or you can dip the offset spatula in hot water before spreading to make it a little easier. Next, spread nutella over the marshmallow fluff with the offset spatula.

Start at one end of the treats, roll up like a cinnamon roll, and pinch the ends together. Put in the fridge for 30 minutes to let everything set and then cut into slices and serve.
